Abuse policy

We take all reports of abuse seriously and investigate violations of our Terms of Service. If you encounter content or activity on Layersource that violates our policies, report it immediately. We investigate every submission and take appropriate action.

How to Report

1. Email support@layersource.com with:

   • URL/account link of the violation.

   • Screenshots/evidence.

   • Your contact information (optional).
     
     

2. We will:

   • Acknowledge receipt within 48 hours.

   • Investigate and take action (e.g., content removal, account suspension).

   • Contact you only if we need more details or have updates.

   • Close the report without response if no violation is found.

Types of Abuse

1. Spam, Malware & Phishing

•  Prohibited:

  • “Junk mail,” “spam,” or unsolicited bulk emails.

  • Phishing (e.g., emails pretending to be Layersource to steal credit card numbers).

  • Hosting/distributing malware.
    
    

•  Example Violation:
  
  “Congratulations! You won ₹50,000! Click here to share your bank details.”

2. Hate, Violence & Illegal Activities

•  Prohibited:

  • Content promoting racism, hatred, or discrimination.

  • Threats, harassment, stalking, or privacy invasions.

  • Glorifying violence, terrorism, or illegal acts.
    
    

•  Example Violation:
  
  A group using Layersource to coordinate attacks on ethnic communities.

3. Sexually Explicit Material

•  Prohibited:

  • Publishing/distributing adult or pornographic content.

  • Sexual solicitation or exploitation.
    
    

•  Example Violation:
  
  Sharing explicit images via Layersource file-sharing tools.

4. Child Exploitation

•  Zero Tolerance:

  • We immediately terminate accounts sharing child abuse content.

  • Report offenders to law enforcement (e.g., Cyber Crime India).
    
    

•  Example Violation:
  
  Uploading/accessing illegal material involving minors.

5. Personal & Confidential Information

•  Prohibited:

  • Publishing private data without consent (e.g., Aadhaar numbers, bank details, addresses).
    
    

•  Example Violation:
  
  Posting someone’s contact information to enable harassment.

6. Copyright Infringement

•  Prohibited:

  • Sharing copyrighted material (e.g., software, music, documents) without permission.
    
    

•  Our Action:

  • Remove infringing content per the DMCA.

  • Repeat offenders face account termination.

7. Other Violations

• Report any activity harming Layersource or users, including:

  • Fraudulent transactions.

  • Unauthorized access (hacking).

  • Platform manipulation (e.g., fake reviews, bots).

What Happens After Reporting?

• Valid Reports: Content removed; accounts suspended/banned.

• False Reports: No action taken; malicious reporters may be blocked.

• Legal Involvement: We cooperate with law enforcement for severe violations (e.g., child exploitation, terrorism).
